Some of the things on Walking Street tonight.
Well Halloween wasn't quite the same here as it is back home. Back home I would decorate my entire house, buy candy and dog snacks for trick or treaters, wear a costume, have a change bowl for any UNICEF boxes, carve pumpkins, watch scary movies, and make pumpkin seed snacks/popcorn balls/carmel apples. Here we didn't get dressed up but we decided to go down to WalkingStreet and see what was going on. So we went to go-go bars and had a few drinks.
Some of the people dressed up-mainly tourists and a few of the locals. There were some interesting people...
The good old stand-by, I just but a headband...
She was a statue doll that only moved when tipped!...

I LOVE Halloween, unfortunately we are told they don't do much for it here. But tonight on Walking Street we noticed a few festive people!...(ok so the people in the masks are our group..but hey there is hope for tomorrow!)
Found a new restaurant with entertainment while eating great Thai food. (ok I dated these wrong-they from a dinner on 10/30-oh well!) Here are a couple of the things we saw (we will go back again to get all the pictures) Getting better with the camera and fire shows!
You see one of these carts about ever couple blocks. Do people really buy them THAT often!?! Yes this guy is taking a break, he is usually pulling that cart.
I haven't gone farther in my photo class till I feel I mastered the part I just learned. Well with all the rain we are getting during the day its been giving me some good practice. I really need to get a zoom lens! (Troy KNOWS thats what I want for Christmas this year).

And trying to get a drip off the end of a leaf is pretty hard! I took 52 pictures and I got TWO drops in the pictures....I like the second one the best!

So every day I try to take a photo of something in my life. Well after a long Friday and Saturday night partying I didn't do much today on Sunday. So Troy decided he would take a picture of something I did during the day---well most of the day......tried to sleep through my hang over. Thanks honey! LOL And no I don't normally sleep with a bear...that was a gift from troy about a month ago.
Well Saturday night so you know I am out on the town again. One of the go-go's down on walking street called Sharks...
This is "mamasan" (the women who is in charge of the working girls). Every go-go has one.
Some of the Rayong crew came up to hang out in Pattaya tonight so I decided to join them! Here is one of me and my AngelWitch Boys. (What do you think of the pigtails?!)
The Living Dolls Go-Go is now one of my favorites! It, like AngelWitch, has actual shows/performances by the girls! One here that was pretty cool was the dancers came out in blacklight glow paint outfits and danced. I got some ink work done also, this is the best shot (its hard to get a picture of something glowing under a blacklight I learned).

The reason Pattaya is famous is because back during the Vietnam conflict/after our boys would take R&R's here. Why here? Well there was this little place called the Tahitian Queen Rock n' Roll Bar that was a strip club with the chance to buy the girls for some extra services plus American bar food and some good old Rock n' Roll. That club spawned many others and now we have walking street (the highest "working girl" per population in the world!). So here is the original club-
With all the rain we have gotten the last couple days our hotel pond has gotten higher. The flowers that were on the lily pads however took a beating and don't look that nice now.
Also I'm still trying to play with my shutter speed and ISO combos on my camera-so here are a couple water effects with it. I think I am getting it down and may take the next weeks course soon!
Still down-pouring here a few hours a day. I tried to get picture of HOW hard the rain comes down...you can kind of tell in some of these.
