Today I did London's first photoshoot...I think I did pretty good actually for my first shoot also! To see them all go HERE
Here are a couple of my favs-
So we left MN to get to IL by 1pm only to find out that we will be moving to New Orleans at 9pm! So I crammed in my postpartum check with Hillary CNM (I'm going great!) and London's 2 week Dr. appointment (he is now 20.5 inches and up to 7lbs 14 oz!!). We packed up everything and caught our flight at 9pm. London did great on the plane...didn't even make one peep :)
Once we got to New Orleans we checked in and got upgraded again to the two bedroom suite (so we have a full kitchen again!). This is one bedroom (my nest LOL) the other one has a desk in it.
First assignment as a road-family is New Orleans. As many of you know this is my favorite city in the USA so IF we HAD to have a USA job I'm not horribly upset about it being here. Many of you are probably wondering if we drove or flew since we now have a newborn traveling with us. Well at 14 days old London had his first plane ride and he did wonderful. He nursed during take off and landing to prevent ear issues and he slept most the flight. I have to admit I was nervous I was going to be "that" lady on the plane with a baby, but no one even knew he was on the plane really. I got many nice comments. I have to admit the BEST traveling thing with a small child has to be my wrap---I don't know how moms do it trying to drag a stroller around with them. We only added about 5 min on to our normal process and thats wasn't london's fault it was ours.

Today we went out to lunch with Erin and little Emily at the Channel Inn (local mom & pop restaurant with GREAT burgers). We had a great time!Later that day I put London on the chair while I went to transfer laundry and when I came back I found that London was able to somehow get the remote off the arm of the chair and next to him. So there he sat in the recliner with his remote....they start so young!
